From the 7th to the 11th of June, Bioart Society hosts BioFutures, a workshop that invites a group of practitioners to work together and to investigate futures in relation to biology, ecology and life sciences. During the workshop, the group builds a storyworld – a possible future – and explores the impact of different scenarios upon every day within it.

The workshops are revolved to artists and practitioners interested in speculating about the future(s) and contributes to Pixelache Helsinki 2021 Festival #Burn____ (https://festival.pixelache.ac/) as a festival partnership production.

BioFutures is part of Biofriction, a European collaboration project committed to supporting bioart and biohacking practices. The Biofriction project is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
