Biofriction Summer Program: Radical Ecology

Hangar from the 12th to 17th of July 2021 hosted the Biofriction Summer Program, a six-day intensive program with workshops, seminars, and presentations on Wetlab, Radical Ecologies, Ethics, Biohacking, and F(r)ictions; bringing together artists, researchers, philosophers, and hackers (among others) from diverse (in)trans_disciplinary practices and perspectives.
The proposal is conceived as an entangled structure in which all the thematic nodes are intertwined, but with specific activities that help to cross-pollinate.

Here you can see the lecture during the Radical Ecology session helded by Regine Rapp & Christian de Lutz, as part of Art Laboratory of Berlin, and Xose Quiroga, as part of IMVEC.

Art Laboratory of Berlin described the projects of DIY Hack the Panke developed in the last few years and they talked about how to do a DIY science experiment which consist on making a density column to identify plastic waste by density, using household materials.

In the second part of the video, Xose Quiroga introduced and presented IMVEC and its regist.ro tool portal.
